FISIP UNIB – Wednesday (02/03) SMK Negeri 01 Bengkulu City in an effort to increase students’ knowledge and competence according to the demands of the Pancasila Students profile presented Mrs. Yorry Hardayani, S.IP., M.Si as the coordinator of the Office Administration Study Program, Diploma Three Administration Program FISIP Bengkulu University Office.
The implementation of this activity is the implementation of the Visiting Teacher Program for Office Administration Expertise with the theme “Development of Technology Applications in Business Service Office Management”. The event, which was held in the hall of SMKN 1 Bengkulu City, was attended by 141 students and 5 teachers. In her presentation, Mrs. Yorry explained the importance of technology and office management in administrative activities in an organization or institution. Technological developments will later demand many things, therefore students are expected to be able to reach and understand what is and will happen in the future in the field of office management and business services. Office technology has an important role as a tool or machine which will later be applied in office activities starting from recording, collecting, processing, reproducing, sending and storing information materials effectively and efficiently. In addition, business services will support office administration activities in terms of achieving customer satisfaction, consumers, communities, and users both material and non-material in order to fulfill customer satisfaction.
The implementation of the guest teacher program was also attended by the principal of SMK Negeri 01 Bengkulu City, Dra. Hj. Evrita, M.Pd. In his remarks, the principal hopes that students can add insight and knowledge in the field of office management technology expertise and business services through programs launched by the school, one of which is the presence of guest teachers from Bengkulu University. This activity is also expected to be able to create graduates from SMK Negeri 01 Bengkulu City who are ready to work according to their fields of expertise. (adm2)
