UNIB RECTOR Dr. Retno Agustina Ekaputri, SE, M.Sc inaugurated Dr. Drs. Tamrin, M.KM as Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs and Dr. Liza Adhrianti, S.Sos, M.Si as Deputy Dean II for Resources, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). The inauguration ceremony took place wisely in the hall of the UNIB rectorate building, Monday (3/1/2022).
The replacement of the Deputy Dean of FISIP UNIB was carried out considering the end of the tenure of the previous Deputy Deans of FISIP. In this case, Dr. Tamrin replaces Dr. Hajar G. Pramudyasmono, MA and Dr. Liza Adhrianti replaces Dr. Gushevinalti, M.Si.
Meanwhile, the position of Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs which was previously held by Dr. Suparman, M.Si, but currently filled by the Acting (Plt) which is held by Dr. Mas Agus Firmansyah, S.Sos, M.Sc.
With the inauguration of the Vice Deans of FISIP, it is hoped that they can help the performance of the Dean of FISIP UNIB for the 2021-2025 period, which is now held by Dr. Dra. Yunilisiah, M.Si.
In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNIB congratulated the two inaugurated officials and hoped that they would be able to take part in a good, enthusiastic, trustworthy and responsible manner in the success of the leadership performance in FISIP UNIB so that they could realize the goals of the institution.
“This kind of inauguration is a normal, routine activity in an effort to meet the needs of the organization. Inaugurated officials must be able to demonstrate their abilities, act well, establish cooperation and cohesiveness, be orderly, careful and enthusiastic to realize the goals of the institution that have been formulated in the vision and mission,” said Dr. Retno Agustina Ekaputri.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chair of the Bengkulu University Senate, Prof. Safnil, Vice Chancellors, Deans and Deputy Deans around UNIB, Head of Bureaus and heads of work units around UNIB, as well as other guests. Even though it was conducted offline, this event still implemented the Covid-19 health protocol.
In addition to checking body temperature when entering the event venue, inaugurated officials and all invitees are required to wear masks. Congratulations to appointed officials do not shake hands directly, but only give a signal. [Author : Purna Herawan/Humas].
