NEW STUDENTS ATTEND PMO 2020 ONLINE

KS FISIP UNIB II Saturday, October 3 2020 The Social Welfare Student Association successfully held an “Organizational Management Training” activity for new students via the zoom meeting application. The event opened promptly at 08.00 WIB starting with the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur’an by Muhammad Hafizh Al-Ghifari, as well as a prayer led by Muhammad Satria Wijaya. Then it was followed by singing the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Department of Social Welfare. At the opening remarks were also delivered, successively by Taufan Rinaldi Iskandar as Chair of the Committee, followed by the Chair of the Social Welfare Student Association, namely Sindra Abdul Yasier, and ended by the Chair of the Social Welfare Department, namely Mrs. Desy Afrita, AKS., MP who delivered a speech while officially opening the event.

The first material on the first day was “Organization and organizational management” delivered by S. Ujang Effendi, S.Sos, M.Kes. The material for the second session was “leadership” delivered by Abdul Aziz Mn, S.Sos. The two presenters are alumni of the University of Bengkulu KS, who are currently successfully taking part in academics and practitioners in the field of social welfare. The enthusiasm of the participants in listening and responding to the delivery of material by the resource person was seen. The whole event on the first day ran smoothly, although not face-to-face or via online, but the spirit of the organizers and participants was felt in the ongoing activities.

The next day, Sunday, October 4 2020, the second day’s agenda continues. It began with the delivery of “Public Speaking” material delivered by Muhammad Indra Pratama Ramlan S.Sos. The speaker is interesting, teaching new students how to be able to speak well in public. Furthermore, participants were invited to take part in the second material, namely “Trial Techniques” delivered by Edy Putra Irwansyah S.Sos. Through this speaker, participants are taught to know what a trial is, trial techniques, types of trials and how to carry out these trials. Unlike the previous year, technical material for the trial this time could not be carried out directly, only demonstration via video. However, this did not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants in listening and listening carefully to what was conveyed by the presenters and how to carry out the trial techniques correctly.
