NEW STUDENT ENTHUSIASM IN ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT TRAINING (PMO) ACTIVITIES HELD BY THE SOCIAL WELFARE STUDENT ASSOCIATION 2021
Saturday, September 25, 2021 HIMA-KS held an online Organizational Management Training activity through a zoom meeting. This year’s PMO carries the theme “Reactualization of Organizational Spirit to Form Leaders with Integrity in Managing Organizations.” Puja Kesuma and ended with remarks as well as the opening of the event by the head of the KS Department Desy Afrita, A.KS, MP.
The first day of the event began with the delivery of the first material, namely “Organization and organizational management” which was delivered by Sindra Abdul Yasier as General Chair of HIMA-KS 2020-2021. The speaker conveyed it very interestingly so that it reaped new student enthusiasm about the organization. Then it was continued with the material “Leadership” delivered by Rahmat Andre who is an Outstanding Student of FISIP and Received a Bank Indonesia Scholarship. The material presented was no less interesting, where new students were very enthusiastic about the material presented by the speakers.
The second day, September 26, 2021, was immediately followed by the material “Public Speaking” delivered by M. Rinaldi, S.Sos. as head of the Indonesian Youth and Leader Empowerment (IY ALE) Education Department Reg. Bengkulu. The material presented drew enthusiasm from them because for them mastering public speaking was very important not only in organizations. Furthermore, the second material, namely trial techniques, was delivered by Dedi Herawan, S.Sos. as Peksos Generalist, the material presented was no less interesting than the previous materials. Mr. Dedi conveyed the material well to the trial simulation which also involved new students to become presidium 1, presidium 2 and presidium 3. The event could run smoothly they could find out how the trial was, how to preside over the trial, etc. of course it was the main attraction in itself for them to get to know the material. Until the end of the event, there was an impression of a message from the PMO 2021 participants, they admitted that PMO 2021 was very impressive, even though it was carried out online it did not reduce their enthusiasm to actively participate in activities and also take all the knowledge that had been conveyed by the four presenters over the past two days. However, they hope that next year or the next event can be held offline so they can experience the real excitement of the event.
