An explanation of the quality assurance system in the management unit of the master study program and the quality standards used at FISIP UNIB are as follows:
Faculty Quality Assurance) whose membership consists of lecturers with a term of one year. The UPMF team is determined based on a Chancellor’s Decree signed by the dean on behalf of the chancellor. The 2015 UPMF team, for example, was established by Decree of the Chancellor of UNIB Number 075/UN30.9/HK/2015 dated 2 January 2015 concerning the Appointment of the Quality Assurance Unit Management Team of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Bengkulu University in 2015. Then, the 2015 UPMF team 2016 was established by Decree of the Chancellor of UNIB Number 0018/UN30.9/HK/2016 dated 4 January 2016, and the 2017 UPMF team was established by Decree of the Chancellor of UNIB Number 005/UN30.9/HK/2017 dated 3 January 2017.
One of the tasks of the UPMF team is to compile rules related to the quality of learning, including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). The SOP that has been made by UPMF FISIP UNIB is the SOP in the Education Sector, with document number 6421/UN30.9/HK/2014 dated June 2 2014. Then the SOP in the General Administration Sector, which was determined based on the Regulation of the Dean of FISIP UNIB Number 3498/UN30.9/ KP/2017 concerning Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for General Administration of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Bengkulu, 2017. Finally, SOP for Student Affairs: Statutes of the Large Family of Students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Bengkulu, which was published in December 2013 , which was then updated with SOPs based on the Decree of the Chancellor of UNIB Number 4622/UN30.9/KM/2017 dated 30 October 2017.
The quality manual with regard to information about policies, statements, implementing units, standards, procedures, SOPs, and stages of higher education quality objectives, is explicitly explained in:
- Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 75 of 2013 dated 14 June 2013 concerning the Statutes of the University of Bengkulu.

The quality manual is disseminated through the Academic Handbook of the Bengkulu University Undergraduate and Vocational Education Program, which is compiled and distributed to students periodically at the beginning of the academic year (start of the odd semester). Furthermore, this university quality manual is translated into quality assurance documents at the faculty level.
The preparation of this document is carried out under the control of the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, through the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (UPMF), which produces: a) academic policies; b) academic standards; c) academic regulations; d) quality manual; and e)procedure manual at the faculty level. These documents are then discussed and ratified through the Faculty Senate meeting.
FISIP UNIB’s quality goals are derived from the faculty’s goals, with the following details:
- Producing graduates who are professional and able to study social and political issues by upholding ethical and moral values for the continuity of the complete national development;
- Producing scientific products and studies in the field of social sciences and political science that compete conceptually-theoretically, analytically and paradigmatically and can add to the body of knowledge with the development of today’s modern society;
